Basket Filter

Description

The basket filter is a small device that removes a small amount of solid particles in the liquid, which can protect the normal operation of the device. When the fluid enters the filter cartridge with a certain size filter screen, its impurities are blocked, and the clean filtrate is discharged from the filter outlet. When it needs to be cleaned, just take out the detachable filter cartridge and reload it after processing.

Working principle

The basket filter is mainly composed of connecting pipe, main pipe, filter basket, flange, flange cover and fasteners. When the fluid enters the filter basket through the main pipe, the solid impurity particles are blocked in the filter basket, and the clean fluid flows through The filter basket is discharged from the filter outlet. When cleaning is required, unscrew the screw plug at the bottom of the main pipe, drain the fluid, remove the flange cover, and take out the filter basket. It can be reloaded after cleaning. Therefore, it is extremely convenient to use and maintain.

Technical performance requirements

  • The top cover of the basket filter must be provided with an exhaust valve. Observation holes should be provided on the top cover of the basket filter.
  • The design pressure is not less than 1.5 times the working pressure, and the test pressure is not less than 1.5 times the design pressure.
  • The sum of the perforation area should not be less than 2.0 times of the cross-sectional area of the connecting pipe. The diameter of the perforation of the filter cylinder should be 3 to 4 mm. For example, the filter mesh should be 10 to 15 meshes.
  • The structure of the basket filter should be simple and reliable, flexible in loading and unloading, easy to dismantle and wash, and good in sealing.
  • The size of the inlet and outlet of the basket filter should be the same.
