Description

The Mechanical Bar Screen (called grille as well) is usually composed of a set of parallel grilles, which are angled to the inlet of the pumping station catchment. Its tilt angle is 60 to 80 degrees. 

Working Principle

  • Special shaped rake teeth made of stainless steel are assembled on the rake shaft in a certain order to form a closed rake tooth chain.
  • The underwater grid (rake teeth) intercepts the dirt and moves upward along the rail. When it reaches the top, due to the guiding effect of the curved rail and the gear, the adjacent rake teeth will move relative to each other, pushing the dirt out and unloading it into dirt container.
  • At the same time, the special rotating brush removes the trace residual dirt on the rake teeth.

1. Equipment and rake tooth specifications

If the width of the machine exceeds 1800mm, it will be made and connected. 
The rake tooth gap is divided into various specifications such as 1mm, 3mm, 5mm, 10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, etc.

Model selection depends on the treatment capacity, the lifting height, the total amount of solid-liquid separation, the shape and particle size of the material, and construction materials.

2. Equipment length specifications

The standard depth of the equipment is 1535mm, which can be lengthened arbitrarily according to user needs and site conditions.
